JigScape account & data deletion

Delete your JigScape account and data.

Request permanent deletion by email. You can start here even if you have uninstalled JigScape.

Email support@sproutlingsgame.com with the subject JigScape account and data deletion request.

Request deletion by email

The button opens a draft in your email app. Review it and send it to submit your request. If no email app opens, send a message manually to the address above. This page does not submit a request automatically.

What to include

  1. Your JigScape username, if you know it.
  2. Your sign-in method: Google, email, phone, or guest.
  3. The email address or phone number associated with your account, when applicable. Sending from that account's email helps us verify ownership.
  4. A clear request to delete your JigScape account and associated data. You may instead specify a data-only request if you wish to keep the account.

For a guest account, tell us it is a guest account and include your username or a previous session code if available. We may need further information to identify the account safely. Do not send passwords, verification codes, identity documents, or full payment details in the initial request.

For Google sign-in users

This process deletes the JigScape account associated with your Google sign-in. Your Google Account and other Google services remain available. You can also review JigScape's connection in Google Account connections; removing that connection alone does not submit a JigScape data-deletion request.

Verification and timing

We verify ownership before deleting data to protect your account. Verified deletion requests are processed within 30 days. We will contact you if we need more information and confirm when the request is completed.

Delete specific data and keep your account

You may request deletion of particular hosted photos, messages or other account-linked data without asking to close your account. Tell us which data you mean so we can explain any effect on your shared puzzles.

Request data deletion only

Review and send the email draft to submit your request. The same verification, timing and retention information on this page applies. Local saves can be deleted in the app as described below.

What we delete

Subject to the retention exceptions below, an account-deletion request covers:

Removing a hosted puzzle can make it unavailable to other participants. Copies of photos or messages that other people have already saved are outside our control.

Local saves and your original photos

We cannot remotely erase files on your device. Delete individual saved puzzles from their three-dot menu on Home. To remove all local app data, use your device's app-data controls or fully delete the app; offloading an iPhone app can retain its data. Your original camera-roll photos remain yours and are not deleted by this request. Device or cloud backups are managed through your device provider.

Records that may be retained

Some transaction, security, abuse-prevention, legal or deletion-request records may need to be retained to meet legal duties, resolve disputes, or document a safety investigation. Those records are limited to the relevant purpose and kept for the applicable legal period or as long as that documented purpose requires. Our response will explain any retention that applies to your request, including its reason and period where determinable.

App-store transaction records and service-provider backups or security logs may follow their own retention rules. See the provider details in our privacy policy. Deleting a sign-in record alone is not the whole process; our review also covers the associated JigScape data described above.

Purchases and subscriptions

Account deletion does not automatically cancel an Apple or Google Play subscription or issue a refund. Manage any active subscription separately with Apple or Google Play. You do not need to buy anything or reinstall JigScape to request deletion.

For help with this process, contact JigScape support. Read the privacy policy for the full data-handling details.
